We have baby pigs for sale! The are Gloucester Old Spot over Berkshire (father is purebred Old Spot and mothers are purebred Berkshires). They were born right around Thanksgiving. They are currently $100 each and will be through the end of February. They will go up $25 each in March.
We currently have males and females. The males will soon be cut (castrated). We just moved them into the barn to wean them. Here is a picture of them in a stall in the barn.
Here are some pictures of them with their mothers shortly after they were born. The mothers (sows) and the father (boar) are pastured. All of our breeding hogs and pigs are fed table scraps from our table, whatever they find and eat outside, and fermented all-natural, non-GMO whole grains and/or pig feed from Sunrise Farms in the Shenandoah Valley.
